A Family Story
For several generations, RALPH M. has brought to life a vision of furniture driven by a passion for the craft, a taste for detail, and the transmission of French craftsmanship. A family story where high standards, team commitment, and a love for fine materials give birth to creations designed to last.
The Birth of Anjou Sièges
In 1977, in the heart of Anjou—a region renowned for its artisanal and manufacturing tradition—Anjou Sièges was born, a manufacturing workshop dedicated to furniture, sofas, and armchairs.
It was in this building that the initial skills were developed, the first teams formed, and the foundations of a demanding work culture based on manufacturing quality and a taste for fine materials were laid.
Over the years, the workshop became a true center for creation and heritage, perpetuating a vision of furniture driven by technique, precision, and French craftsmanship. Even today, these walls house the RALPH M. collection workshop, continuing this family and artisanal history.
The Beginning of a Family Adventure
In 2005, the story took a new turn when Alain Mouraud, former head of a French furniture manufacturer, and his son Ralph Mouraud—who brought experience in business development and marketing from a major American automotive equipment supplier—decided to join forces to breathe new life into this iconic workshop.
Joined by Virginie Mouraud, who took charge of administration, and an initial team of several technicians in the workshop, they founded Anjou Sièges Création with a clear ambition: to revive French expertise in contemporary sofas and armchairs.
The first collections then took shape in the workshops while the distribution network was gradually built, driven by a demanding vision of product, comfort, and manufacturing quality.
It was the beginning of a deeply family-oriented and human adventure, founded on heritage, commitment, and a passion for furniture.
The Birth of RALPH M.
The year 2014 marked a major turning point in the company’s history.
Anjou Sièges Création became RALPH M., with the aim of asserting a strong, contemporary identity resolutely focused on the world of decoration and interior design.
This evolution resulted in a new vision for furniture: cleaner lines, collections designed as a whole, and more in-depth work with textiles and designer fabrics, which gradually complemented and then reinvented the historical leatherwork.
Beyond the product, the ambition became to build a true brand, carrying a unique universe, sensibility, and recognized French craftsmanship.
RALPH M. no longer offers just sofas or armchairs, but a global vision of the interior where design, materials, and elegance tell a coherent and lasting story.
First Presentation at MAISON & OBJET
In 2017, RALPH M. reached a decisive milestone with its first participation in the Maison&Objet trade fair, a key event for decoration and contemporary design.
This first appearance marked the brand’s entry into the high-end furniture market and the discovery of the collections by independent stores, interior designers, and specifiers.
This founding moment allowed for the building of the first partnerships with the distribution network and established the brand’s long-term presence in the world of decoration.
A New Creative Impulse
The year 2026 marks a new stage in the evolution of RALPH M. with the meeting of Dominique Tosiani, founder of La Maison Générale, who joins the brand as Artistic Director.
A collaboration born from a shared vision of design, materials, and the elegance of contemporary interiors.
This new impulse affirms the desire to evolve the RALPH M. identity through a global artistic direction: a new visual identity, a new logo, new communication tools, and the development of a more selective and qualitative distribution network.
Beyond furniture, the brand now asserts a complete vision of interior design, conceived as a true lifestyle universe for the home.
The launch of the rug collection thus enriches this approach and strengthens the brand’s decorative identity.
More than just a collaboration, this meeting marks the beginning of a new chapter where creation, French craftsmanship, and the work of materials unite to carry the brand toward a more global, sensitive, and demanding vision.
A Living Heritage Company
The Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label distinguishes French houses that perpetuate exceptional artisanal and industrial craftsmanship.
At RALPH M., this distinction embodies much more than mere recognition. It reflects our commitment to preserving techniques passed down through generations, to manufacturing in France with high standards, and to dedicating the necessary time to creating durable pieces. Every sofa, armchair, or table that leaves our workshops is the result of meticulous work, carried out by men and women driven by the same passion for excellence.

A French manufactory
At the heart of our French manufactory, every RALPH M. creation is born out of respect for artisanal craftsmanship and the requirement for the perfect gesture.
Behind every piece, men and women precisely shape sofas, armchairs, and tables designed to last. It is a process where mastery of materials, attention to detail, and the time dedicated to each creation give birth to authentic furniture, designed to endure through the years with elegance.
